AIPS (Auction Image Preparation Software)

AIPS is a program intended for use by anyone having a need to place images on the web, e-mail images to friends and acquaintances, enlarge images, reduce images, create thumbnails, or create high quality printouts suitable for framing and displaying. You can also flip your images (horizontally and/or vertically) and rotate them by 90, 180, and 270 degrees and optionally convert from .jpg to .bmp format or vice versa. Finally, you can combine images into a single image, add colored text, add variable sized rulers, and add colored and patterned borders.

Anyone who wishes to organize their files (of any type) will find our powerful, easy to use file renaming and sequencing routines of enormous benefit. Sequenced files can then be transferred, in order, to devices, such as digital picture frames, Mp3 players, and similar devices, thus guaranteeing the showing or playing order.

Image Compressor --
- Dimension Controls (width x Height)-- for enlarging or for making thumbnails
- Compression Quality controls -- results in small file sizes. Great for preparing images for a web page, e-mailing, or saving hard disk space.
- Converts bitmap files to jpeg format
- Converts jpeg files to bitmap format
Combine images --
- Images can be aligned horizontally or vertically.
- Combined images can be aligned by the left edge, center, or right edge or by the top edge, center, or bottom edge.
- Colored and textured borders may optionally be added (even to a single image).
- Recursively combine many images into one image.
- Colored text may optionally be added (even to a single image) using any font available on your system.
Add Rulers --
- Add up to four (4) rulers to your image.
- Independently adjust the length of each ruler to match your image.
- Adjust the ruler offset to align with the subject edge.
File Renaming and Sequencing Routines
- Replace names like scan001.jpg to vacation1998_001.jpg
- Add or change sequencing values like scan001.jpg, scan002.jpg, scan003.jpg to
  vacation1998_107.jpg, vacation1998_108.jpg, vacation1998_109.jpg
- Move the sequence number from the end of the name to the beginning of the name
  or vice versa like scan001.jpg to 107_scan.jpg
- Write sequenced files to devices such as digital picture frames and Mp3 players
  thus guaranteeing their show (or play) order
Print Routines -- Print any bitmap or jpeg file
- Print images full page (stretched to as large as your printer allows)
- Print images in their actual, native size
- Print images to the EXACT size you want (for example 6.00 x 8.00 inches).
- Professionally balanced borders (Margin correction)
