Alarm Sounds
The Alarm Sound Library and Creating Your Own Alarm Sounds
A part of setting an alarm clock or count down timer is to select an alarm sound from the alarm sound library OR creating a new sound.
Selecting a sound from the library is a matter of just clicking on the radio button associated with the desired sound. The sound can be confirmed by clicking the "Play" button.
If you have a microphone and your system has a sound card you can click the "Create New Sound" button to create your own alarm sound. There are, for all practical purposes, no time limits to your sound. It can be a fraction of a second or a complete rendition of our National Anthem lasting several minutes.

The Sound Queue
It's possible that more than one alarm could go off at the same time and, as previously mentioned, an alarm sound can be from a fraction of a second to many minutes in length. This would result is sound chaos if not for the sound queue which brings order to the alarm sounds.
When an alarm goes off it doesn't sound right away but instead is placed into a queue (if it is not already in the queue). If other alarms are already in the queue they are played first and, after all other alarms are played, the new alarm will finally play. After the alarm completes it is removed from the queue and, if the alarm hasn't been turned off, it is immediately placed into the queue again. This scheme results in alarms being played in the order in which they went off AND each alarm must play to completion before the next alarm in the queue will play.
A Couple of Alarm Samples
We have included two alarm samples. The first is an example of a count down timer with a user created alarm and the second is an example of an alarm clock with a sound selected from the sound library.
IMPORTANT: Make sure your browser currently displays "http://pcezsoft.com/tmgr/alarm-sounds.htm". If it does not, don't play either of the examples.
Be assured that playing the samples will not result in any pop-ups, spam, or other viruses.
To play either sample, click on the thumbnail of the clock and respond accordingly to your system prompts. After the alarm has completed, click on the sample to remove it from your screen.
